When you can’t go to school, school comes to you.

With technology being the “new normal”, teachers are finding new ways to teach reading virtually.  Reading Recovery is a one-to-one reading intervention program.  This reading program has never needed a document camera to share books or information with students but now, like all our teachers, we are finding new ways to share instruction with our students.

Using our IPEVO mirror-cam and white boards we can share reading and writing with our students through zoom meetings.  This mirror-cam allows students to view individual books, letters, and writing activities without using a document camera or a web cam.  We are very thankful for our technology department for helping find this wonderful way to reach and connect with students.

Here Weston is enjoying the use of the IPEVO mirror-cam during his Reading Recovery Lesson. He can see/read books without the words being backwards and he can receive immediate support from his reading teacher during this process.  Together, we can read!!!!!!!Reading Recovery
